June GMM Guest Speaker from PLAYS

Please join us at our GMM June 20th where we will have a guest speaker from PLAYS.

A representative from PLAYS, which stands for Parents Lending Autistic Youth Support will be in attendance to describe their program in a 15-minute presentation.  PLAYS was a recipient of a donation from CUPE 122 earlier this year.

As usual, our meeting will take place at the West Ferris Arena at 5:30PM.

We are happy to announce that all three remaining candidates have confirmed their attendance for our General Membership Meeting on May 16th at 5:30PM at the West Ferris arena.  The following candidates will be presenting their campaign platform:

Stephen Glass – Liberal Party of Ontario

Trevor Holliday – Northern Ontario Party

Vic Fedeli – Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario

Please join us for a complimentary meal, the candidates’ presentations, an informal question and answer period with the candidates and our regular membership meeting.

 

Provincial Election Meet the Candidates Event

In order to help our members make informed decisions at the ballot box in the upcoming provincial elections, we’re inviting the local candidates from all parties to attend one of our upcoming membership meetings.   The following candidates have confirmed their intention to join us on April 18th at the West Ferris Arena:

 

Henri Giroux – New Democratic Party of Ontario

Kris Rivard – Green Party of Ontario

 

Please make an effort to attend this meeting in order to hear how each campaign platform may affect us as CUPE 122 members and voters in North Bay.  The candidates will have 20 minutes to share their ideas followed by a brief question period.
